The Royal Baby Outfit

This week and last week I visited London with my Mum for a couple of days. As it turned out it was exactly the time when Kate, or the Duchess of Cambridge should give birth to a future king or queen of England. Whole London was excitingly waiting for the arrival of the royal baby and so did we.
On Monday July 22nd it was finally born, a healthy future King named Prince George Alexander Louis! Whole London celebrated the birth with blue illuminations of the London Eye and the television tower. The following day we went to the Buckingham Palace and the Green Park nearby to see and hear the 41 Royal Gun Salute of the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery in celebration of the arrival of the third in line of the throne. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity! How often does it happen that a future king is born and you are there at the same time? I guess not a lot! Afterwards also the bells at Westminster Abbey have sounded out in celebration for almost an hour! This is were I took my pics of my outfit in celebration of the arrival of the royal baby boy. I was wearing a blue Marni for H&M shirt  because blue was obviously the color of the day (royal blue and baby boy blue)! But overall I kept it very casual and comfy as it was also very hot and humid in London and as one could imagine we were not the only ones that came to the Buckingham Palace that day!

So god save the queen and the baby prince!
